Following the exclusive revelation on URZ.4t.com that Rivaldo was close to signing for Reading, we can reveal what the player himself revealed in an exclusive chat with URZ.4t's James Bucknall that he is currently unhappy at AC Milan and is still hankering after a transfer to Reading. "I was very impressed by the Madejski Stadium, the San Siro does not compete." His proposed move from Barcelona was vetoed as he referred to the Royals home as "THE Madejski Stadium" not "Madejski Stadium". Madejski stadium officials are clamping down on this and it was felt the club could not cope with another player getting the name wrong.

SAVAGE OUT FOR SEASON
ROYALS ACE BAS SAVAGE is out for most of the season with a cruciate injury picked up in Germany. The blow could seriously hamper the royals attack as we now only have Jamie Cureton (Golden Boot winner 2000/01), Martin Butler (player of the year 2000/01), Nicky Forster (Club Top Scorer 2001/02, left), Tony Rougier (Full international and Club top scorer for Port Vale 1999/00) and Darius Henderson (6ft3 youth tipped for England honours) left to fill the void!
